About this deal

Its composition reveals the spirit of a man who chooses his own destiny with independence and determination. The best way I can describe the parfum is, out of all the blue/bleu fragrances this is the Godfather. You get hit with the ambery-citrus in the opening and it dries down into a pleasant ambery-woodiness after a couple hours.

To me this is a staple that you should have in your collection if you have an interest for fragrances. Longevity wise it's very good 8+ hours and 24+ hours on clothes, but it sits so close to the skin that the longevity doesn't matter because people can't smell you. It fails to make an impression on me, unless the impression is "I'm harmless, inoffensive, safe and feeble. All versions of BDC have Citrus notes but the parfum has a softer sweeter citrus compared to the sharp fresh citrus in the other 2 versions. You don’t need both, you won't go wrong with either of them, definitely a great addition to one's collection/rotation.After sitting on my vanity for a few months it lost the creaminess and developed that "old generic cologne" harsh note that has become dominating in the opening, and it lost some other notes that were once prominent, it does smell quite different now. At first I was in love with bleu de chanel edp but after 6 months I find myself only reaching for the Parfum. The performance is more subdued in comparison to its blue peers such as Sauvage but with that said the projection is modest with above average longevity on me, it lasted 7 hours and 1 more as a skin scent.

This is a review of a 5oz bottle with batch code 7801, manufactured in July of 2022, written by a guy in his early 40's. The way this fragrance settles is unlike any other, the opening is nice but the dry down after about 15mins is really beautiful; the way the smoothness and the way the notes stack up so perfectly is like heaven for you nose and is unmatched by anything I have ever smelt. The edp and edt have the “it” factor I love in the parfum, but the richness and heart notes on display are pronounced loud and proud as where with the edt and edp it runs and hides.Although Bleu De Chanel is the perfect 4 season fragrance the Parfum is better for winter than the other 2 versions because it is fuller, darker and warmer. As time passes you get more of the woods, and the sweetness from the pineapple and geranium just completes this scent and makes it pretty much as close to perfect as you can get. There is no such thing as a Dior Sauvage vibe, for that one is Dior's take on Bleu de Chanel succes. A fragrance unveiling three nuances of its temperament in three interpretations: Eau de Toilette from 2010, Eau de Parfum from 2014 and Parfum from 2018. It's a nice fragrance, but tbh I find it soooo generic, so common, probably due to the fact that I smelled this DNA a lot.

Out of the three bdc line, this one is more woody, some say more mature, well, may be more rounded and complete. it's already a skin scent about 1 hour after two sprays on the same spot, which I don't think should be the case. Sprayed this on after almost a year, i forgot i had it TBH, put to the side usually in place of more recent acquisitions. It's versatile enough to be worn all year—and the fact that I am legitimately disappointed when I reach the last spritz of BDC Parfum sets it apart from anything I've ever worn, sampled, or sniffed. The added creaminess makes the Parfum more viable in cooler weather, I really think this could work in Winter.Creates a fairly good silage trail around you and lingers in the air for a few seconds even after you leave a room without being too potent. While testing them for several days those nostalgic smells from the EdT did come back to me and I loved it too but after 3-4 hours it turned weirdly sour.
