About this deal

The wide front wheel base (23cm) and low ground clearance (2cm from the ground) make for increased stability, which is excellent for this age group, and ensures a good performance on bumpy pavements and damaged asphalt. It has a slimmer frame than other models out there and doesn’t have a foot brake or adjustable handlebars but it folds and is very light weight. The baseboard is lightly ridged in plastic, which isn’t as non-slip as some other models like the Oxelo Mid 5 and Mid 9, but our tester’s child didn’t have any problems with slipping. The Cooghi V4 Pro 4-in-1 Scooter for Kids is a durable plastic build, with hard rubber scooter style wheels (2 front, and one rear).

The suspended seat design does mean that, in practice, knocks are absorbed well, and there are three seat heights to ensure your child continues to be seated securely as they grow. Disclosure - All opinions expressed in this review are my own based on our experience with the product, as per my disclosure policy. I'm not going to lie, I handed it over to T to put together assuming it'd be way too hard {and frustrating} for me to put together. The bright pink plastic bleached over time in the sun, but every mechanism stayed perfectly intact throughout the week-long testing period, and seems like it will remain so for some time to come. Since bub can't talk enough to answer my questions about what she thinks of the scooter, I've put together a list of my favourite features. With three wheels for extra stability, rear-wheel friction brake and a sturdy plastic deck, Lidl’s 4-in-1 Scooter is perfect for enjoying the great outdoors no matter the weather.

When folded down, it’s a great balance bike for toddlers, we let our little guy push himself around the house like this. We exclude liability for all warranties and conditions, express or implied, by statute or otherwise to the fullest extent permitted by law. As the child grows and enhances their motor skills, the seat of the Globber GO UP 4-in-1 comes off the deck. For kids with a need for speed, electric scooters are an amazing choice so they can enjoy zooming about. One day, I went to collect Jin from nursery and I saw of his friends whizz past on a little scooter. It’s important to note that when the parent handle is attached in ride-on mode, the scooter is more top-heavy, and a child should not be left unattended without a parent stabilising the handle.

Happily, the Go Up Comfort Play complies with three safety laws: the relevant EN:71, and international standards ASTM F2264 and F963 (which regulate safety warnings for toys).

It doesn’t fold BUT you can remove the T-bar with a push of a button and attach it to the bottom of the board. The seat position can be used to a maximum of 20kg and then the scooter base can be used to a maximum of 50kg. At no point does the Go Up Comfort Play feel in danger of tipping forwards, even when our tester’s three-year-old leaned well over the handlebars for momentum (as she did often).

I love that it gives kids different options for different surfaces, or if they get bored and just want to change things up. Featuring an adorable entrance door, two functional sliding windows, an open back window and even a real doorbell.

As bub still isn't quite 2 yet we've only used the scooter in the balance bike positions, both with and without the handle.
