About this deal

The only negative factor is that the longevity could be better, I think it starts to lose its power after 3-4 hours and is gone around 7-8. Evoking memories of morning skies and calm waters, this eau de parfum comes contained within a sleek and simple glass bottle.

First Instinct for Women, inspired by that first moment of attraction, when two people’s worlds collide and a spark is ignited. I've been wearing it ever since I bought, but I consider the "test phase" to be over already after a week. I generally prefer something heavier and more sensual and strong in the evenings but I think those who don’t think the same would find this scent ideal for both day and night.I would agree that this is a young, fresh scent which is heavy on the melon, but not cloying, it would be very good for summer heat. The tonic water and gin are also noticeable, they enhance the melon with some soda-like, sweet, sour, citrusy, and fresh touches.

The heart is made from powdery orchids, hints of passionfruit while tonka gives the right plenty of sweetness. I doubt it's unique or sophisticated enough to impress any fragheads, but it is bright and cheery, gets decent reactions from the ladies, and is as clean as they come. The fragrance is relatively linear, the opening favors the melon, tonic water, gin, and citruses, it feels very fruity and fresh; as time passes, the violet leaf adds fresh air and ozonic touch, similarly the suede develops to add a soft leathery and projecting note but both add a light powdery touch that cuts the initial sharpness of the citruses. This is a casual scent, more night-time leaning, not really suits for the office but I guess you can still wear it to work without choking anyone. It is nice for casual wear if you are in the mood for something sweet but it could also work for a date or just going out. I can also detect a bit of a soft bitter green note from the violet leave before getting to a sensual suede note and the pleasant warm sweetness of amber all wrapped in a lovely clean musk. Tropical fruit vibes, cocktail like freshness, and little bit biscuit creamy-ness really brings the openings on another level. The notes are well blended and it has some warmth to it, just gorgeous but it does not last long sadly.

It smells like it wants to compete with Invictus (First Instinct smells better) but doesn't keep up. I'll have to test this in the highest heat and see if it behaves differently than it has in my first week of wear (which has been about 50-60F in the daytime). You won’t really notice any difference between a product purchased from Perfume’s Club and a product purchased from a seller in our new Marketplace.
