About this deal

The 8g baked highlighter will last you a long time and I would strongly recommend it, it's definitely one I will be reaching for often. This is the perfect product to pack for your holidays this summer to get your limbs look juicy and gorgeous. Designed to celebrate the brand's bestselling Champagne Pop shade, this limited edition pressed powder highlighter is housed in a stunning, shimmering compact that mimics the product's classic, luminous glow. I’ve taken a few photos to show the complexity but it’s something you have to see in person to really understand how gorgeous it is. I found lasting power to be quite good – it stayed put from morning to late evening and it adheres well to the skin.

The Opal colorway swatches slightly too bright (looked almost like a shimmery blush or light bronzer) on me, even with my summer tan.

In the pot it’s this gorgeous luminous peachy gold champagne shimmer on the skin it pulls a bit more cool-toned than what I see in the compact. Champagne Pop is the perfect shade for summer skin and the stick also has a gorgeous summery fragrance. I just dropped Quincy off at the rabbit sanctuary for a few days of vacation while we go up north for the fourth! The powder has a finely milled texture and although it is very shimmery and very pigmented it blends easily onto the skin. Like a real-life Instagram filter, it looks stunning when dusted upon the high points of the face, adding backlit lustre without a trace of tell-tale glitter.

It is fast becoming a holy grail, that my sun kissed champagne cheeks are wondering how they ever did without. I have used it regularly all these months, for both day and night events and it's been stunning no matter what light. Or if you’re like me and you love highlighters you can actually tell a difference between the two :). I like it but never wear it because it’s way too dark and orange as a highlighter, but way too garish and reflective when used as a blush.I have (4) of the Ambient Light powders (the trio and Mood Light) and just got this Becca highlight in the mail today. I’ll be wearing this all over my cheekbones, collarbone, shoulders and anywhere else I can in Vegas this weekend and all summer long to get that Victoria’s Secret model glow. I highly recommend it unless you’re a fan of the ultra-subtle-almost-invisible shimmer because this one will probably be too shimmery for you.

I – thank God – could grab one, although I think it could be similar to MAC’s Perfect Topping which is my favourite highlighter EVER but since I don’t own any BECCA highlighters, this one was a MUST!I'd consider Mary Lou to be still a little more universal than Champagne Pop as it has less color to it. People were wondering how similar Champagne Pop is to Becca Moonstone or Opal and also how it compares to The Balm Mary Lou. Please refer to the ingredient list on the product package you receive for the most up to date list of ingredients. I’ve been wearing this family of highlighters for a few years now, and I think Champagne Pop looks slightly peachier than Opal and Moonstone, two of the more popular existing shades. If you want a more subtle glow and a highlighter that you can use to mix with your foundation the Shimmering Skin Perfectors are awesome for that.
