Initially, I thought Coming to Find You would be a thriller, but I was surprised to find out that there is a second POV set during World War II. This one is only half way there as I feel neither storyline was ever fully developed or committed to. There was incredible pacing for a thriller and many twists and turns that I felt came to a satisfying conclusion at the end. My favorite part of this book was learning more about our MCs and how well their characters were developed. I’ve been a long-time fan of Jane Corry’s books, but I fell behind somewhat so it’s been a while since I read one of her books.

Elizabeth and Nancy have a lot in common and I took to them both so well, I know they will both stay with me for a long time to come. When Alex – Nancy’s ex fiancé – arrives at her home, she begins to question whether he is telling the truth about their past relationship, and who she can believe. The book jumps around the timeline for Nancy from before and after the murder, as well around the WW2 timeline. If you like mystery books about family secrets with a bit of darkness, add this one to your TBR list. Nancy is hoping to start afresh where nobody knows her or her secrets, but things have a way of catching up with you! the story unfolded in both eras at the same time, flitting seamlessly between them, bring together the characters from both eras and their interrelationships.

The characters are well-developed, and the author has done a great job of making them relatable and likeable. A. Paris, author of Behind Closed Doors'Yet another twisty, exciting book that I couldn't put down' Heidi Perks, author of The Whispers'Combines the heart-warming with the thrilling' Emma Curtis, author of Invite Me In'Her best yet. The historical fiction section of this story was wonderful, it showed what life was like at home for those left behind, missing loved ones who had gone to fight and hearing news of deaths from bombings and the trauma that this leaves. Nancy’s mother and stepfather have been brutally murdered, and Martin her stepbrother accused of the crime. This often hair-raising experience helped inspire her Sunday Times-bestselling psychological dramas, My Husband’s Wife, Blood Sisters, The Dead Ex, I Looked Away, I Made A Mistake, The Lies We Tell andWe All Have Our Secrets, which have been translated into over 16 languages and sold over a million copies worldwide. The book is about Nancy, who’s step brother has just been charged with the murder of her mum and step dad.
