About this deal

This is not intended to be a full statement of all your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations. but also with the separation, the heroine and hero would have to learn to be friends again, so I was really interested in this. But she was a honest representation of a girl who suffered, who was depressed, whose past haunts her still.

I don’t think I’ve read any of the author’s books before but this one surely made me want to check out her other titles in her back catalogue because I enjoyed it quite a lot. If you're a fan of angsty, raw, and real stories that just isn't only filled with good romance but also about life and the strength of family, this might be for you. I feel like anyone could have told me this story about their own lives, which is great as it makes it relatable, but at times I wanted to shake the lead as it felt like her reasoning for leaving home didn’t match up to what it led her to. I really liked that and I thought he treated Ivy with respect which she didn’t get from anybody else. Now take all those dynamics and wrap them up into a one-of-a-kind story that incorporates sports, family issues, self-harm and fated love and you’ve got the makings of one of my top reads this year already with Dare You To Hate Me. Cuando vio que no podía en lugar de regresar arrepentida pues no por orgullosa decide prostituirse solo para tener un lugar donde dormir o sea DUDE is seriously? She escaped a family that treated her like a nuisance, freely flourishing attention and money on her younger brother because he was deemed worthy.

Ivy and Aidan's story it's full on from the beginning of the book and their chemistry it's there from page 3. I also liked the fact that she emphasized the struggle to get specialized help for mental issues when you have no money. They are both there for a second chance, Ivy to prove she can get her life back on track and Ayden to restart his football track to the NFL after some past troubles. i didnt hate her but her character definitely annoyed me at times with her constantly pushing aiden away. The story is well written…but a bit too much like real life for it to feel like the escape I was hoping for. This girl's actions and reactions could characterized as wrong from the mass, but if you will read this story, you will realize that Ivy was just a broken girl who was a survivor. I felt like there was so much of it that was beyond repetitive, and even though self harm is something that so many young people struggle with overcoming, it wasn't addressed as in-depth like I wished it was.

B. Celeste took us to a soul-stirring journey about a young woman in finding redemption, family, and love during rock bottom. Now for the male main character, Aiden, he’s a star football player and really is the main driver of this being a sports romance rather than a contemporary romance or new adult. She symbolizes those that suffer from ideas and actions of self-harm as an outlet to release the pain they feel inside. It's an ok read so I wouldn't discourage you from giving it a go but I won't be adding it to my read again list!

From the fan-favorite author of Underneath the Sycamore Tree comes the first in a raw, real romance series following the lives of the Lindon U football players and the complicated girls who change their lives forever. This is one of those book you finish in one night, crying and sobbing for the most of it and thankful for the mess it leaves inside of you for days. This book was truly an amazing read, and while there are certain other sports romances that were great, this one really dug deep into the emotional and mental aspects of what Ivy experienced. Even as a young chid he always tried to protect Ivy and made sure she had somewhere to go when things were tough at home.
