About this deal

We've been having lots of board game sessions here at The Madhouse over the Christmas period, which has been a lovely way of reconnecting as a family without the distractions of ipads, Facebook and - ahem - blogging ! In The Playroom is a UK based Parenting Lifestyle Blog with a focus on crafts, free printables and kids activities.

Before we began, I swapped the small paper pad with a larger drawing pad so we could draw more comfortably and team members could see more clearly. Can you Guess It as you ask the card holder questions that will give away the picture on the front of the game card what questions would you ask to get Shaving Brush? Only the person whose turn it is can see the picture and the other players ask questions like is it a food? I’m sure most of you have heard of Drumond Park’s LOGO game, which is the UK’s number one best selling board game for grown ups!

LOGO What Am I is a 3-6 player game, featuring lots of popular products and foods, just like the original LOGO board game, but this time it’s in the format of “guess it” “draw it” or “describe it. The older ones love Scrabble and the younger ones love Og on the Bog which i a new addition to our games. Ms C was so keen on helping both teams to roll the dice that we didn’t notice until the end of the game that this special dice has two of each of the numbers 3, 4 and 5! This game is great fun for all the family, it’s easy to play, it doesn’t require batteries so it’s ready to play when you are and everyone has a good chance of winning. I think I will stick to good old Monopoly rather than teach our kids any more about big brands and rubbish food!

Like the party favourite Pictionary, this “no-questions” board game version of LOGO will have players describing, drawing and guessing the brands and famous products shown on the cards. For example: for "Mercedes" you might just draw the famous logo, but for "mountain bike" you might draw a mountain AND a bike. This is a great game for the bringing the family together, especially when you want something for teenagers and pre-teens to play on an even level with the adults. The board is colourful and bright, and comes with 6 counters for up to six players, along with a box of 250 cards to use on each turn, a 60 second timer, dice, and a small notepad and pencil for the draw it rounds. function updateFadeIn(e){myx=parseFloat(getOpacity(e));if (bahShambles == 1){cancelFade++;if (cancelFade == 1){} else {if (myx <. On the question cards there are two sides, The picture side which shows the Guess It challenge, and the Challenge side, which shows a. The information does not usually directly identify you, but it can give you a more personalised and consistent web experience.

You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but some parts of the site will not then work. When the question answered is held by the player in the centre Winning Zone, both players involved win. So the player at the very back of the group can still be joint winner by guessing the final Challenge. Describe It round the player must describe the 3 products on the card before the sand in the timer runs out. I would say that the 8+ suggestion is correct, as younger ones often won’t have the brand knowledge to be able to guess and recognise the clues easily enough.
