Or maybe they are the same and it's just a typo? My first tent was a Hydra 200 - bought in the early 2000s. Fantastic tent, and it's still to the good. At 3.5kg it's a bit on the heavy side, but boy is it strong - I sat out a couple of gales in this and it was stalwart. With the weight I seldom use it these days, but I wouldn't part with it! No massive differences in style between the two models asides from they are sold exclusively by two different retailers and the varying HH for the Helvellyn. Finally, they have the Makalu 2, which looks like the F10 "premium" version of the new Mirage Pro 200:

I have an original Vango Hydra 2-person tent, made in 1995, when I bought it for using at motorcycle rallies. I still use it a few times a year. It is still waterproof, the alloy poles are still good, and I’ve only replaced the rubber peg straps. The only particular care I have taken with it is to use an additional simple small groundsheet underneath the built-in one to help avoid any punctures. I have also been very careful to ensure that it has always been well aired and dried out after use, but I would do that for any tent. They now have a Mirage Pro 200, which ironically is the one that is more different from the previous Mirage 200.As an entry-level hiking tent, the Helvellyn 200 is an option to take seriously. Hikers who only venture out for overnight excursions in the summer months should look for something lighter such as the Wild Country Zephyros Compact 2. But for three-season use, the Helvellyn 200 is an impressive tent for the price. an outdoorshop told me that the vango fabric is prone to UV degradation, but why more than any other fabric? dubious Dependable hiking tents are expensive. That’s not a bad thing, it means we cherish them, care for them, they're great to use and last a long time. But the general cost of living is very high at the moment and that does take its toll on non-essential spending. I'm mostly hesitating between the banshee and blade 200 (it's just for me, but allows room for my gears as it often rains). They seem affordable, light enough and weather resistant.
